Last Minute Decisions?

While updates are usually abundant between here, and RotoWorld and MLB.com, etc., there are still some that slip through the cracks and you don't know whether or not to get them in your lineup--especially if you make weekly roster moves rather than daily. Here's a look at a few question marks:

Carlos Zambrano, SP CHC: waiting on a bullpen session, but he wants to go; looks like Thursday or Friday

Curt Schilling, SP BOS: will pitch Saturday vs. Yankees

Jonathan Papelbon, RP BOS: probably done for year

Jim Edmonds, OF STL: no reports, activate at your own risk; still dealing with concussion

David Eckstein, SS STL: no reports but should return by the end of the week

Jason Isringhausen, RP STL: out this week, probably next as well

Mariano Rivera, RP NYY: out again for this week; keep reserved

Jason Giambi, 1B NYY: should return by mid-week

Hideki Matsui, OF NYY: should take over DH duties by mid-week

Mike Gonzalez, RP PIT: should return this week but not a lock for all save chances

Francisco Liriano, SP MIN: should return to pitch on Wednesday

Brad Radke, SP MIN: not coming back for some time

Kris Benson, SP BAL: missing today, maybe entire week; strep throat

Ken Griffey, Jr., OF CIN: may be ready on Tuesday, risky, but you can activate him

Adrian Beltre, 3B SEA: ready to go this week

Pedro Martinez, SP NYM: should be pitching this weekend, safe to activate

Chad Billingsley, SP LAD: should start this weekend

Chipper Jones, 3B ATL: another week on the bench, may be ready for next scoring period

I'm sure I'm missing some, but I hope this helps.

Good luck down the stretch!!
