What's the Buzz? 10/1/06

And there you have it folks...

The 2006 season has officially come to an end.

A little craziness there...

The Dodgers tie the Padres for the division but lose the tie breaker, so they go to New York to face the Mets as the NL Wild Card winner.

The Cardinals hold off the Astros as they back door into the NL Central title with another loss today. They get the Pods in the first round.

Remember when everyone was talking about the Tigers being a lock? Barely! The Twinkies overtake them for the division and send Detroit to the Yankees for the first round. The Twins get the A's. Did the Tigers really get swept by the Royals in the final 3 games?

Anyway, thank you to all of who who stayed with me this season. I hope I was of some help to you this year. Next year looks to even better!

Stay tuned as I'll be writing some other stuff throughout the playoffs and I'll definitely be doing a "Year in Review" by the end of it all.
