3rd draft running......

So league #3's draft started today. It is the same structure as yesterday's -- both rosters and "blind bid" style draft. Difference is, though, I am really more of a silent partner. It is a league my wife had joined and this year she wants more of my input...and cash flow. This could be a little bit of a struggle as we have very different styles and opinions about certain players and strategies. I'm letting her do most of the bidding while throwing out the occassional player name and opinion. We'll have to just wait and see on this one.

The protects she had were pretty good as we were already walking in with 1B Jim Thome, 2B Jeff Kent, 3B Scott Rolen, SS Rafael Furcal, OF's Andruw Jones and Scott Podsednik, and closer Mariano Rivera.

This league doesn't do the draft in person, so bid sheets were emailed today to the commissioner. First round results coming soon, so I'll keep you updated as it happens over the next 3 days....yes that's right...3 days.
